Our Team
NICOLE FREEMAN, DVM, CVA
I am a University of Michigan alumnus of undergraduate studies. In 2002 I earned my veterinary degree from the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. After a one-year rotating Internship at VCA South Shore, I have worked in the Metro-West suburbs in general practice and urgent care for 20 years. In 2022 I became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through IVAS.
My areas of special interest include dental care and surgical dentistry, anesthesiology and pain management, management of complex internal medicine diagnoses, and geriatric care. I am excited to incorporate Traditional Chinese Medicine into patient care through acupuncture. The ability to bring a diverse array of medical therapies to each patient allows for balanced and effective treatment plans.
In my free time, my husband and I have 2 busy teens, a geriatric cat, and a 10-year-old 60lb mutt dog. I am passionate about traveling, live music, and finding time for self-care.
